Beelzebub
Getting Started

Troubleshooting

Diagnose the common installation, configuration, port, and plugin failures.

  1. Run beelzebub validate before debugging a listener. It reports parse errors, schema errors, procedural errors, and quality warnings.
  2. Confirm the effective paths passed to --conf-core and --conf-services.
  3. Check for port conflicts with ss -lnt, lsof -iTCP, or Docker port mappings.
  4. If no service starts, confirm the service directory is not empty and that BEELZEBUB_SERVICES_CONFIG is not overriding it.
  5. For LLM services, verify the provider, model, endpoint, and OPEN_AI_SECRET_KEY; never commit a key in YAML.
  6. For plugins, run beelzebub plugin list, inspect configurations/lockfile.yaml, and rebuild after install/update/remove.

See validation, plugins, and production safety for deeper checks.
