Plugin Manifest And Configuration

Package metadata and per-plugin YAML that make external extensions reproducible.

Each external plugin repository ships plugins.yaml with name, version, module, entrypoint, optional description, author, min-core-version, and dependency metadata. module must match go.mod and entrypoint must contain the package that calls plugin.Register.

Optional runtime settings can live under configurations/plugins/<name>.yaml. The installer seeds a plugin-provided config file in Docker mode without overwriting an existing operator file. Keep credentials in environment variables or an orchestrator secret store.
